This is going to be very important as I'm going to have 63 squares knitted for my Learn to Knit Afghan and I don't want to have to do all the finishing at the end...that would be overwhelming.
This is what the Fair Isle Hat looks like (I hid the ends that still need to be finished on the inside of the hat):

Not too bad for my first time with fair isle. I think my stranding is a bit too tight. I'm still pretty excited that I was able to learn to knit with two different yarns using both hands at the same time. I know this skill is going to come in handy.
I'm almost done on the Forest Canopy Shawl. I'm actually making it a lot bigger than the pattern, so it's taking a long time. Right now, it doesn't look like much on the needles since it's so cramped on the 29" cord. Can't wait to get this one finished.

My ribbed scarf is on hold though. This colorway is discontinued and I'm on the last skein. I'm going to cut the yarn and put it aside. I've decided that I want to make a hat and a pair of mittens in black using this yarn to do the brim and cuffs...so I'm going to do those and then I'll be able to use the remainder of the yarn on the scarf.

I did finish another hat...and it's completely finished. I've been wearing it everywhere all week. It's the Amanda Hat by Gina House using Paton's SWS in Natural Earth:

I did get a few things finished, but yeah, I still have lots of unfinished projects around. I'm working to clear them up so I can concentrate on my Clapotis and learning to knit socks. Those are my next priorities.

Holy man you are busy with your projects! Your fair isle looks great (my first attempt was stranded way too tightly too) I love your hat and the forest canopy shawl!
Keep up the good work!
