At the risk of boring you all with "the ring", here's just one more photo now that we've had the setting lowered:
I think it looks much better and I haven't been catching it on clothing so much lately. The difference in the height of the diamond doesn't seem very significant between this photo on the one I posted earlier, but IRL I think it's very noticeable.I'm very busy with lots of planning right now...for my vacation, the wedding, and gift knitting. I still have a lot of decisions to make, but I at least chose my yarn for my Clapotis:
It's Nature Wool from Araucania in shades of Violet. I'm having a really hard time waiting to cast on, but I'm trying to get a few other projects off the needles before I start. And I need to get my first sock on the needles soon. I originally planned to use this as my vacation knitting project, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait that long. And just for fun, I also bought this for myself:
It's Multicolor from Filatura Di Crosa in color #4118. There are some gold highlights in there that didn't really show up in the photos we took. I haven't actually decided what to do with this yarn, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Your ring is so pretty! I'm glad you finally got it back with the lowered setting.
And oh that YARN! I love that violet...and the filatura is GORGEOUS! Have fun with that! :)
Your ring is GORGEOUS. I love the setting. In fact, I'm sitting in a little puddle of drool now.
Nice yarn too!
