The yarn is Sublime Angora Merino in Berry (I think it's more of a plum, though it came out more purple in the photo). It's 80% extra fine merino and 20% angora...and really, really soft. It's a lot fuzzier than it looks in the photo, but this was the only photo that came out that wasn't blurry from my shaky hands. The yarn was a gift from my co-worker Amber who brought it back for me from her trip to Scotland. Amber's one of my favorite co-workers and not just because of the yarn. She keeps me sane at work and that's not always an easy task.In case you're wondering, yes, I'm still bowling. We're not doing very well in the second half of the season. My team has been in last place (30 out of 30) for a couple of weeks now. The meds the doctor put me on in November for a few months interfered with my coordination and my average has dropped from 118 to 112 (this is what I started the season at). The last few weeks I haven't been able to break 100 in any of my games. Today we did well though. We bowled against the 6th place team and took all 4 points; though more through the excellent bowling of my teammates. I've been off the meds for two weeks, but am still having some difficulty getting back into the swing of things. I did okay today and even had one game at 114.
It's still quite busy here, but I do plan on putting more effort into blogging in the near future. Should be quite easy as I have a lot to catch you all up on. Well, the movie is starting. I've talked Michael into watching Gaslight with me. This is one of my favorite movies and I haven't seen it in a long time; he does not normally like old b&w movies. Hopefully he'll enjoy it as much as I do.

The scarf is BEAUTIFUL Ruby...you did a great job, and such a pretty color!
And don't worry about your bowling average--that happens a lot during the end of the season! Just practice on the Wii LOL!!
