Yet another musical instrument

I meant to have a photo tonight of Julius with his new winter hat; the one I was planning on finishing tonight that goes with the scarf I knit him last year. But that was not possible. I love 2x2 ribbing, however, I hate weaving in ends with 2x2 ribbing. So the hat is still not done.

Instead, I bring you a photo of Julius with his new trumpet...

Because that's exactly what this family needs...another musical instrument. Julius already has an acoustic guitar and a harmonica. I have an acoustic guitar, a recorder, and a harmonica. And then there are all of Michael's instruments - five electric guitars, one banjo, one lap steel guitar, three clarinets, two saxophones, one synthesizer, one recorder, one or two harmonicas, one accordion, and one flute.

I am emphatic in my refusal to allow bagpipes to cross our threshold. That is just too much!

Hey, I didn't see "drum set" on that list! hehehehe

Sounds like my house. And my kids are already telling me what they want to play when the time comes. Should be interesting!

Good luck with the trumpet :)

Please don't give him any ideas!

Actually, I do encourage music...just not bagpipes. It's not that I don't like bagpipes, they okay in small doses when the player is talented...it's the learning phase I can't handle.

Good luck to you too!
