Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam

No, not that kind of spam...

Saturday's tend to be very relaxed around here. So when an old friend of mine called me at 12:30 p.m. today to see if I wanted to go see Spamalot, I was still in my pajamas surfing the net while Michael was downstairs fixing breakfast. It took me a little bit to make my decision, but really, could I have turned it down? I felt a little guilty, after all, she only had one extra ticket and Michael is a big Monty Python fan...oh well, see ya later honey!

So I had to hurry up and finish buying the book I was looking at, eat breakfast, and get dressed and ready to go for a 2 p.m. show. I was actually ready and sitting at the dining room table knitting a new holiday scarf when my friend showed up.

I don't want to spoil things for you, but if you like silliness of Monty Python, then go see this show! It was a wonderful afternoon full of silly songs and great musical parodies. My favorite scene? Hard to choose, but I think probably the taunting French...I actually liked it better than the version in the movie!

It was a great day. After the show, we went out for dinner at The Happy Greek. So a great show, followed by great food and good company....now that's a great day!

Oh, and don't feel too bad for Michael. He's planning on going to see The Cult in concert tomorrow night.
