Photos!

I went out and bought a digital camera today! I’m so excited! It’s a refurbished Nikon CoolPix L3 from Micro Center for only $79.99! It will be nice to have a digital camera that doesn’t require electrical tape to keep the batteries from falling out.

I was even able to use it to get the photos off my old camera and here’s some of what I’ve done for the upcoming holidays:

From left to right: Ribbed for Her Pleasure scarf (from “Stitch ‘N Bitch” by Debbie Stoller) in Lion Brand Homespun - Gothic, Three Blues Mosaic Scarf (designed by Matthew Hesson-McInnis for Needleworks, Inc.) in Knit Picks’ Wool of the Andes – Winter Night/Chambray/Grass, Elaine’s Scarf (from “The Purl Stitch” by Sally Melville) in Paton’s Classic Wool – Denim, and the Quick & Easy Scarf (from “Hip Knits” by Better Homes and Gardens) in Knit Picks’ Wool of the Andes Bulky – Wine/Pewter

Flower Washcloth (from “Weekend Knitting” by Melanie Falick) in Crystal Palace’s Cotton Chenille – Powder Blue/Limeade. I made one of these for myself, just to test the pattern out, in Bubblegum. What a way to pamper yourself – a hand-knitted, soft chenille cotton washcloth. I love it! These washcloths will be paired up with some wonderful hand-made natural soap from Pallas Athene Soap.

Oh, and an old photo...just because. Michael sent me these flowers in a fancy vase to the office to celebrate my first day as a permanent employee. After almost 3 years as a contractor, I'd finally been hired on this past August. Aren't they beautiful?

I had to see who was "next" after me in the Midwest Knitters ring, so "HI Neighbor!"

Wonderful knitting--you have a great jump on the holidays! And the flowers are beautiful!

Have a great day!
